This is for a small 12Volt DC powered submersible water pump.
It can be powered with a 12 volt solar panel,12Volt battery, or an AC to DC converter with an output rating of 1500mA at 12volts DC or higher(not included).
This pump has a good flow rate and lift for it's size. As with all pumps, the GPH decreases as the lift distance increases. When the distance from the water to the top of the fountain is over 14' the flow would be zero, at 10' the flow will be about 60GPH. At 5' the flow is about 130GPH. At 1' the flow is about 200GPH. Multiple sharp turns and low diameter tubing can reduce the flow rate and the lift.
Solar use: For best performance it is recommended to use a 12volt rechargeable battery in-line with a solar panel rated at 20 watts or higher. This avoids damage caused by voltage spikes
throughout
the day.
The pump should be submerged while running. We have been selling a variety of DC and solar powered pumps for several years. This pump is one of the best we have found. It is very well made and has a reliable track record. The labels may vary, but the specs are the same.
