    Description

This is a genuine commemorative United States postage stamp issued to honor the Buffalo Soldiers. The
"Buffalo Soldiers" were formed in 1866 and were comprised of all black members of the United States 10th Cavalry Regiment of the US Army. This nickname was given to the “Negro Cavalry” by the Native American tribes they fought in the Indian Wars since the tribes believed they were as difficult to defeat as buffalo. The stamp is in mint, never hinged, post office fresh condition as issued in the 1990's. FREE clear plastic protective display holder included! Shipping discount offered on multiple lots paid for at the same time on a single invoice, so please view my other listings. Thanks for looking!
