Description
The Final Rolls of the Citizens and Freedmen of the Five Civilized Tribes in Indian Territory. Tan cloth hardcover, pub. 1907 by the Secretary of the Interior, 634 pages. Listings of the people of the Choctaw, Creek, Cherokee, Chickasaw, and Seminole Native Americans living in Oklahoma (Indian Territory) in 1903. The listing includes Roll Number, Name, Age, Sex, Blood (full or portion) and Census Card No. The roll is in numerical order and not alphabetical so you have to know a roll number in order to get any information. The book is separated by tribe, freedmen, new-born, intermarriage and by several states. No index. This is an ORIGINAL, not a reprint. Condition: wear to corners, edges, and back of spine, this was a volume in an oil company legal library and there is a stamp on front endpapers, page markers are taped on pages where tribes are separated, small tears at these pages, both hinges have separations (see photos) and some of the page leaves have separation. Scarce copy in the original publication. Due to value of the book and its condition I will ship this via Priority Mail.
