    Description

    New York Militia brass military buttons, larger sized.
    The buttons have a high dome and a metal shank. The measure 7/8" wide.
    The button depicts the New York state seal. Excelsior, and stars surround the base of the button with a shield which contains a rising sun and the Stars and
    Stripes, an eagle with wings unfurled stands atop the shield.
    The back of the button is marked Kindred and Company.
    The buttons are in excellent condition. Similar buttons date from the Civil War and Post-Civil War era. I believe these are very good reproductions. I have tried to research the button and have not found this particular manufacturer listed.
