    Description

    Jemez Storyteller - Percingula R. Tosa (1924-1996) Jemez Pueblo Pottery (8”T x 5”W x 7 1/2”L)
Percingula Romero Tosa was a Native American potter from the Jemez Pueblo. She comes for a line of famous potters including her mother Lupe Romero, and her daughter, renowned potter, Pauline Romero. Persingula has a lengthy biography and photo in the “Pueblo Pottery Artist Biographies” book, by Dr. Gregory Schaaf.
I have seen a lot of storytellers, but nothing compares to this one. Percingula incorporated 20 very detailed children and it is visually impressive. This is a wonderful display piece.
Excellent condition, but has a few paint flakes
