***This is made from an original Army rifle ammunition package box***
1-to-1 replica 45-55 ammo package for Indian Wars functional display or reenacting purposes. Item is repackaged to original Frankford Arsenal specifications and features an outer wrapper created from original ammo packaging scans on chemically treated paper, shellacked to be semi water proofed when closed, and designed to be functional.
The cardboard is original and approximately 140 years old. Due to age, the original packing tape was dry rotted, so I removed all bubbling and eroded tape, and re-packaged.
